Significance of Census
Population and Housing censuses are the most important methods of obtaining basic population and housing statistics as part of a combined programme of data collection and compilation. The goal of which is to provide a complete source of statistical information, for economic and social development planning, for administrative uses, for assessing conditions in human settlements, for research and for commercial, industrial and other uses.

Swine Flu is a new influenza-like illness (ILI) first detected in Mexico on March 18, 2009. Swine Flu can be spread through contact with infected pigs or environments contaminated with the virus. Human-to-human spread has also been documented and is thought to be transmitted through droplet infection when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
